Ten Lovely Acts Of Kindness That You Can Do For Free
Kindness Doesn’t Have To Cost Money
Some of us will have money to spare, money to spend on others, while some of us, have to stop giving for a while, as we don’t have anything, or much left to give or donate, which means that we have to look after our pennies and reserves as much as we can.
No one should ever feel bad about that, in fact, its really important that we recognise when to stop giving in certain ways, and when we can actually give more freely, then, when we are in a much better position, we can healthily and happily give in that way again, if relevant.
If you want to make someone feel loved, it can be done without cost.
Here are ten lovely acts of kindness that you can do for free:-
1. Send a lovely note, if you have one, use that stamp up that you have in your drawer, or send a lovely email with pretty images and an uplifting poem to make someone’s day.
2. Send pre-written voice audio of you, or you and your family, telling that person who is struggling, how much you love them and want them to feel better. If they are sad, make it a gentle and loving message, if they are lonely make it uplifting and fun.
3. Hand deliver/post a book that you loved reading yourself and are pretty sure that someone else will, through a friends, neighbours or loved one’s door and put a handwritten note in it. Everyone loves a well-recommended and loved book.
4. Hand paint a stone and leave it outside a friend or a loved one’s house.
5. Bake some biscuits, an easy cake, or some bread and deliver to someone locally who needs cheering up.
6. Send a special song/ track via a recorded message on your phone to someone you love, to remind them of a special time you had together. Introduce the start and finish the message with your own voice.
7. Write a poem that is about someone, all the things you love about them and why you love them or why they are so special to you.
8. Leave a lovely note on a car, as you pass by, on your daily walk.
9. Handwrite a letter to a friend, just a letter, it doesn’t have to belong, use the best paper you have, use your best pen and send your best love.
10. Post someone you love a photo of you and them, from a special time spent together, with some lovely words onto social media, it will brighten up their day and others who love that person will see it and make it even brighter.
Just a few ideas, thoughts, when we have less, we feel we have less to give, but we really don’t, in fact, I would say that we have more to give.
We all LOVE to give when we can, but right now we need to be mindful that so many of us might not be able to give as we did before.
What we can give for free, is just as beautiful, if we can’t be with our loved ones, time and words are the best X
