All of the above can involve either a telephone call or a Zoom video call. Once you confirm that you wish to go ahead, I send a beautiful prompt guide, which is a prompted questionnaire for you to complete and email back to me.  Alternatively, we can do it all via email if you prefer.

 

How do I make it work for you?

Through my business, My Beautiful Pen, I weave words into personalised poems, heartfelt wedding vows, wedding readings, speeches, vows and other custom writings for special occasions that celebrate life’s most cherished moments. It is so much more than a craft for me; it is a journey of healing and absolute joy, where words often serve as a brushstroke on the canvas of my client’s emotions.

My songwriting background and passion for the power of words fuel my ability to write for others. As a born romantic who cherishes weddings and celebrates enduring love, I bring a unique perspective to every project.

When I got married, I didn’t want words from a book or someone else’s feelings, I wanted my feelings and my words.  This is why I love what I do, as I ensure that the speeches, readings, poems, etc, are full of my client’s feelings.

Personalisation in weddings has become more important as weddings are so bespoke and creative these days.  There is no reason to miss out on the words; make them stand out as well.

Some people may think that the speeches are the less interesting part, but they are not, and they absolutely shouldn’t be. This is the time to bring everyone together, to be inclusive, to be funny, to be loving, to recount important moments of your journey and your relationship, to be whatever you want to be, and it does make a difference.

Based on a speech with a 300-word count and a short bespoke verse with up to 150 words

£185.00

Option B

Based on a speech with a 600-word count and a short bespoke verse with up to 200 words

£230.00

(The above costs include support from me, e-copies along with gorgeous hard copies, and recordings to understand the flow and to practice with, which increases confidence and helps you to deliver the speech in a way that you feel totally comfortable with)

NB: It is good to note that most people will read on average, 130 words per minute, and so you will get an idea of how long you will need and what you will be able to fit in during your wedding.

Words really do add a unique blend of magic and emotion to any special occasion, making it highly personalised, it may sound strange, but I make people cry for the right reasons, and so could you, by me helping you find the right words, with the right emotions, and help you deliver a message in the most meaningful way.

I also write heartfelt and moving pieces for those sad occasions in life. I work with my clients in a gentle and empathetic way, to create a fitting tribute for their loved ones.

My qualifications for this are life, love, and loss and I use my singing and songwriting skills to help my clients. Creating bespoke poetry and prose, creating those meaningful pieces, that make those special moments, much more meaningful and memorable.
